The Office of the Public Guardian has now published details of the Ministry of Justice’s “power of attorney refund scheme” (attorney fee refund scheme).
This scheme has been launched to refund those who may have paid more than they should have for applying to register powers of attorney.
If you applied to register a lasting or enduring power of attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2017 and paid an application fee then you may be due a partial refund.
