About John Britten:

John trained and post qualification practised, in the City of London, for several years. In the late 80s he established a niche dispute resolution practice in Smithfield Market, in the City, before others moved in. He has been a commercial dispute resolution solicitor for some 29+ years, acting for large and small companies on a variety of company, commercial and marine matters.

After his years in the City of London he was a partner with a large regional firm for some years. He founded his own virtual firm, The Dispute Resolution Practice, in September 2000 which he ran and expanded, until he decided to bolt his practice onto rhw, on 1st May 2007.

He has been involved in or lead several reported cases eg in the Court of Appeal case - Amphenol -v-Tekdata Interconnections [EWCA/Civ/2009] and in the Chancery Division of the Companies Court - re BA Peters plc ( in Administration) July 2008.
