Bill Hatton

Bill joined rhw in February 2016 having previously worked with the partners several years ago.  He is an integral part of the firm’s Management Team, dealing with all aspects of HR, IT, compliance and general operations management of the firm.

Having previously worked in international banking and the web development sector, latterly as Operations Director, Bill joined a small law firm in 2001 as Practice Manager.  He moved onto a larger firm in 2002 where he project managed the implementation of a new case management system.  In 2007 Bill gained an MA in Practice Management and has now worked in a similar role with five law firms throughout Surrey and London as well as a west end accountancy practice on two occasions.

Managing lawyers has been described as akin to trying to nail jelly to the ceiling and herding cats. Bill believes both of these to be simple tasks in comparison.

Away from work Bill follows the mixed fortunes of Crystal Palace, is an avid reader and is a devoted fan of the excuses created by South Western Railways (nee South West Trains) for their delays. One of those statements might not be wholly accurate.
