Edward Pennington is the head of rhw’s private client team. Before joining rhw in August 2013 he was head of the wills, trusts, tax and probate department at a regional firm for a number of years.
Edward has lived in the Guildford area since 1980. He trained in the town and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2004. Edward specialises in Wills and Probate, Deeds of Variation, Trusts, Inheritance Tax advice, Powers of Attorney/Court of Protection work and advising older clients. During the course of his career he has dealt with matters on behalf of a wide range of clients from a wide range of backgrounds and is frequently complemented on the clarity of his advice and sympathetic manner.
He is a full member of both STEP and Solicitors for the Elderly as well as the Law Society’s Private Client section and was pleased to obtain WIQS (wills and inheritance quality) accreditation from the Law Society for the department shortly after he joined rhw.
Outside of work Edward enjoys Cricket, historical research and the writings of PG Wodehouse.
