This is a photo of rhw’s Julia Finill presenting her husband, Chris, with his medal at Sunday’s London Marathon.
Chris Finill has run in every London Marathon since 1981. One of only 14 people to have done so.
Marathon running is a golden thread through the whole of the Finill family, with their son, Nicholas also completing the Marathon on Sunday.
This means that everyone of the Finill family has completed the challenge, hence “the marathon family”! Quite some feat, I am sure you will agree.
