Samantha Jago of rhw Solicitors presents award to Royal Surrey County Hospital at the Staff Recognition Awards
On 28 September 2011 Royal Surrey County Hospital presented their Staff Recognition Awards being a long standing annual event. At the event the Hospital recognised its ‘real life heroes’ being members of staff who go the extra mile to ensure that patients get the highest quality of care.
The awards are nominated by both patients and staff and winners of categories receive a certificate and prize. There is also a short video prepared explaining the work they do and the difference they make.
This year rhw sponsored the Frontline Team of the Year. This award recognises the contribution a specific team makes to the Trust by working directly with patients.
The shortlisted nominees for the award were The Intensive Care Unit and The Nuclear Medicine Team. The award was presented to the teams by Samantha Jago, Associate Solicitor and Mediator, of our family law department.
Samantha comments
“It is wonderful to sponsor an event such as this and recognise the hard work and achievements of those working at the Royal Surrey. By hosting this evening the RSH give its staff a great moral boost with the awards recognising all members of staff from every level; making it a truly inclusive event. The Royal Surrey Hospital provides a vital role in our community. We rely heavily on the services it provides and upon it maintaining an extremely high level of care. This cannot be achieved without an excellent workforce. I was extremely proud to present this award.”
