rhw Solicitors took part in the Disability Challengers “Battle of the Businesses” last Thursday 21st June in Guildford Cathedral
This is an annual event and this year over 20 teams took part in this fun evening. Over 200 people took part and a total of £5,750 was raised as a result of the event. These funds will go towards offering families an opportunity to some much needed respite whilst their children can enjoy the tremendous facilities offered at Disability Challengers, Stoke Park. rhw Solicitors came a respectable “3rd place” – this was a repeat of last year!
Mady Hatton, Communications and Fundraising representative from Disability Challengers said:
“It was so lovely to see the rhw team at this year’s Battle of the Businesses! The fantastic on-going support we receive from rhw through events like this is such a support to us and makes a real difference – enabling us to continue providing vital play and leisure to hundreds of local disabled children, whilst also giving their families a muchneeded break from caring. During tough economic times, the continued effort rhw makes in supporting Challengers in a variety of ways is amazing and much appreciated.”
