About Bethan Foster
Bethan joined rhw in 2016 from a high street practice in North Surrey. She practices in all areas of Family law with a particular interest in financial matters. Bethan has experience in separating couples with complex assets to include businesses and self-employed income. She is also passionate about finding solutions appropriate for individual families including in situations where there are not enough assets to fund two families.
Bethan is also experienced in dealing with disputes relating to the arrangements for children in separating families and appreciates the need to protect the children from any dispute as far as possible. She has worked on matters involving permanent removal from the jurisdiction, applications to the Court regarding specific issues, holiday arrangements as well as general day to day arrangements for the children of the family.
Bethan has also run cases that involve non-married separating couples as well as arrangements for parties to protect their assets when entering into a marriage (pre-nuptial agreements) .
Bethan is committed to finding solutions for families in the most cost-effective and amicable manner for that family. In a reflection of this she has recently trained as a collaborative lawyer. As such, Bethan is now qualified to resolve disputes in all areas of family law through the collaborative process.
Bethan prides herself on being professional and approachable at all times and strives to build strong relationships with all of her clients. Her experience and expertise have been acknowledged as she has been shortlisted in the “rising star” category at the Surrey Law Society awards which are taking place in September 2018.
