About Catherine Shacklady

Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and, having enjoyed involvement in large volume transactions of council properties under “right to buy” legislation, chose to specialise in property work.

She broadened her experience by working in a London practice, acting for a major lender in relation to commercial properties and businesses, and dealing with substantial sales off on behalf of a landed estate.

More recently Catherine has carried out a considerable number of part ownership sales and purchases to and from local authorities and housing associations. Catherine has worked locally since 2000 and joined rhw solicitors in May 2005. Catherine deals with the sale, purchase and mortgage of freehold and leasehold property.

Catherine has been a member of the Guildford based Vivace Chorus for more than 20 years. She also enjoys reading and sport and is a season ticket holder at Fulham FC.
