Giles Gillingham
Giles has been in practice since 1981, specialising since 1983 in commercial property work. Until 1990, Giles was based in central London, gaining most of his experience with a leading City firm.
He has successfully advised a wide variety of clients - ranging from multinational companies, pension funds, charities, plc’s, a major national house builder and large retail chains to small/start up businesses.
Giles's commercial property work covers a broad range of transactions including sales, purchases, leases and, lease renewals and setting up and implementing development schemes.
He has also since 1995 developed a specialism advising care providers on the sale and purchase of care homes and similar businesses and on regulatory matters.
Giles heads up the firm's Care Providers Legal Team and is also responsible for our services to the Garden Centre sector.
Giles is married with three grown up children. He enjoys most sports, particularly golf hockey rugby and cricket though laments that this is now more watching than playing!
